What this covers
This applies to every service the Trebired organization operates: the products it hosts, the game server, and any account that reaches them.
The licence on the code states what you may do with the source. This states what you may do with the services the organization runs.
What is not allowed
Accessing, probing, or interfering with accounts, servers, networks, or data that are not yours, or testing our defences without asking first.
Sending bulk unsolicited messages, or using an account to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate another person or the organization.
Publishing, hosting, or transmitting material that is illegal where the organization operates, or that exists to distribute malware.
Circumventing, disabling, or attempting to defeat a limit, a quota, an authentication step, or an access control.
On a game server the organization operates: cheating clients, automation that plays for you, griefing another player's build, and anything that turns the server into a job for everyone else.
Automated use
Scripted access is permitted when it is identifiable and reasonable. Give your client a name we can recognise, and respect the rate limits a response states.
Scraping a service hard enough to degrade it for other people is not reasonable, whatever the intent behind it.
What happens when this is broken
Most cases end with a message asking you to stop. That is the outcome the organization prefers, and the one it reaches for first.
Where the behaviour continues, or the harm is immediate, the organization suspends the account and states why. Appeals go to [email protected].
Reservation of rights
Nothing in this policy limits the organization's rights, claims, or remedies, all of which are expressly reserved. Enforcement in one case is not a waiver in another.
