Agreement
Using a Trebired website, product, or server means these terms apply to you. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Where a separate written agreement covers custom work, that agreement controls for that work. These terms cover everything else.
What these terms cover
Every website, product, package, and server the Trebired organization operates, as of the time you read them rather than as of a list fixed when they were written.
They do not cover a copy of Trebired software that somebody else installs and runs. That installation is operated by whoever runs it, under their own terms, and the organization is not a party to it.
Using our sites
Read anything, link to anything, quote anything with attribution.
Do not use a site to break the law, to attack it, or to interfere with anyone else's use of it. The detail is in the acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms.
Our products and their licences
Everything Trebired publishes is open source. The licence in a repository states what you may do with that code, and the licence travels with every copy.
The licence covers the code. It grants no right to the organization's names, marks, or identity, which are governed by the trademark policy.
Products are provided as they are. Open source means you may read, run, modify, and redistribute the code on the licence terms. It does not mean the organization owes you a feature, a fix, a release, or a response.
The game server
Access to a game server the organization operates is granted by whitelist and may be withdrawn, with or without a prior warning, where the rules of the server or the acceptable use policy are broken.
The world, the economy, the builds, and the data on it are hosted as a service and carry no guarantee of persistence, availability, or recovery.
Custom work
Custom projects are governed by the written agreement for that project: its scope, its price, its schedule, and its delivery.
Unless that agreement states otherwise, the client owns the deliverable on full payment, and the organization retains the right to describe the engagement publicly and to reuse generic techniques, patterns, and components developed in the course of it.
Intellectual property
The code is open under its licence. The name is not.
The organization's names, logos, marks, branding, product names, package names, domain names, repository names, social handles, trade dress, icons, and slogans are the protected identity of the organization. Nothing here grants any right to use them beyond truthful identification.
A fork is permitted by the licence. Presenting a fork as the organization, or as endorsed by it, is not.
Disclaimers
Services are provided as they are and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
The organization does not warrant that a service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free, and does not warrant any result obtained from using it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law permits, the organization is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, however caused and on any theory of liability.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use a service after a change means the changed terms apply.
Reservation of rights
Nothing in these terms is a complete statement of the organization's rights, claims, or remedies, all of which are expressly reserved. No permission is granted by implication, custom, usage, silence, technical access, public availability, or failure to enforce.
